6.20 pm That's all from Mirpur today. Hope you enjoyed ESPNcricinfo's coverage of the first match of this tri-nation series. It's Zimbabwe v Sri Lanka in two days, but till then it's good bye from Sreshth and Deivayaran. Tata!

6.10 pm Time for the presentation ceremony. First up, the losing captain, Graeme Cremer. He says: "Definitely not enough runs on the board. We didn't mind batting first, but we needed 240. Raza was decent, so was PJ. The lack of ODI's have hurt us a little, but we do have some experienced players. Guess it never helps when you don't play enough. Sometimes it's too late to learn in a short tournament like this. We are going to Dubai after this series, and then the World Cup Qualifiers at home. This is what we are looking ahead at. For the next game, we'll look to get to 40-45 in the first ten overs and then see where we go from there. We'll be better in the next game."

Mashrafe Mortaza, the winning captain: "South Africa was tough. So coming home and winning is always good. We need to play well against Sri Lanka as well. The bowlers did well, we knew there was no sun last few days, so knew wicket may play some role. Shakib, brilliant. When you're chasing 171, we just knew that one or two partnerships and we'd be done. Tamim did so well, so did Anamul. Shakib did great batting at No.3. It's very important to get the first win. Hopefully we can continue."

Shakib Al Hasan is the Man of the Match. Here's what the man has to say: "It was important to get early wickets, because the wicket got better as the game progressed. There was a bit of moisture at the start, so we thought spinners might get help. And, that's exactly what happened. Tamim's been terrific last few years. Hopefully he can continue doing that. Batting at No. 3 gives you more opportunity to bat more. At No.3 team expects you to score more runs. New job, new responsibilities. Hopefully, I can carry on."

6.03 pm Reactions from the two captains coming up next. A bunch of contenders for the Man of the Match as well. Will it be Shakib Al Hasan or Tamim Iqbal?

Shahidul Arman: "Stats: Kapil dev never gave a no ball in his whole career (131 Tests and 225 ODIs) And debutant Muzarabani made 4 already in one over!!"

Ovy: "Hope Zimbabwe step up their game. It's really sad to see them suffering like this. We Bangladeshi learn a lot from them once. Come on Zimbabwe!"

6.00 pm A dominating performance from Bangladesh. Tamim Iqbal's unbeaten 84 sees the hosts through to the win. Zimbabwe, however, will be disappointed with their batting as well as their bowling. Their fielding, too, let them down. The teams shake hands as the Bangladesh fans rejoice in Mirpur. They overhauled 171 with ease after a thoroughly professional bowling performance in the first innings.

Cremer to Mushfiqur, FOUR runs

full on leg stump, swept with the turn on this occasion. Goes over the square-leg umpire, and deep backward square can't stop this either

Tahia Tahia: "Tamim can't get a 100 anyway with the number of runs available. So Why aren't these two just playing to finish this asap and get a huge NRR advantage. Could help should BD lose to SL and Zim win with SL (1 win each scenario)"
