Keon Harding

Right-arm seamer Keon Harding travelled to England with the West Indies squad in 2020 as a reserve, and was given a chance in their ODI squad in early 2021 when Romario Shephard was ruled out of their series in Bangladesh after contracting Covid-19.

He had earned his place after a series of strong performances in regional cricket. He was West Indies Emerging Players' leading wicket-taker as they sprung an upset by winning the 2019-20 Regional Super50, and also took 29 wickets in seven appearances for Barbados as they won the four-day competition in the same season. On the England tour, he was spotted having a long conversation with Stuart Broad after the third Test, who tweeted that Harding was "really keen to learn and seems a great thinker of the game".
