AN AUSTRALIAN CRICKETING TEAM FOR ENGLAND.
The arrangements for the formation of a combination team of Australian cricketers to play in England during the next season are well advanced, and we are now in a position to announce the names of the members. [The names were then given; but, as they will be found on the last page of the book, there is no necessity to give them here.]
They will start for England by the March mail. The trip from first to last is expected to occupy about twelve months.
We of Wisden's wish the Australians a pleasant passage to England, lots of good cricket and close matches when they are here, and a safe return home.
