Stephen Waugh will miss the Bradman XI match against an England XI in Bowral tomorrow (Wednesday 8 January), it was announced today.
Waugh suffered a right groin strain while bowling during the fifth Orange Test match against England in Sydney.
He will be replaced in the squad by New South Wales wicketkeeper-batsman Brad Haddin.
Commenting on Waugh's injury, Australian team physiotherapist Errol Alcott said: "It is a minor strain but it was felt prudent for him to miss the match to avoid the risk of increasing the severity of the injury."

The Bradman XI also includes former and current Test players Mike Whitney, Simon Katich, Stuart MacGill and Michael Slater.
The squad is: Mark Waugh (captain), Mike Whitney (vice-captain), Douglas Bollinger, Shawn Bradstreet, Jamie Cox, Brad Haddin, Simon Katich, Stuart MacGill, Greg Mail, Michael Slater, Dominic Thornely, Nathan Pilon.
The match at Bradman Oval is scheduled to start at 1000.
