Kent County Cricket Club announced today that John Wright will continue as Coach to the Club for the year 2000. Next year will be his fourth year with the Club.
Commenting on the decision, Kent's Chief Executive, Paul Millman, said "We are delighted that John has agreed to stay with Kent for another season. He has done a terrific job during his time at the Club. We have made good progress so far this year and we very much hope that the foundations John has laid will ensure that Kent maintains its position in the top flight into the future."
On receiving news of his appointment, John Wright added "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Kent and am very much looking forward to another year with the Club. We have a highly talented squad of players who, under Matthew Fleming's leadership, are showing a really positive attitude towards the hard work necessary to achieve success."
