Jason Gillespie ruled out of Travelex One-Day International Tour of India

Cricket Australia today (17 October) announced that fast bowler Jason Gillespie will not take part in the Travelex One-Day International Tour of India due to injury.

Cricket Australia today (17 October) announced that fast bowler Jason Gillespie will not take part in the Travelex One-Day International Tour of India due to injury.
Brad Williams will replace the South Australian in the squad.
Gillespie, who is not taking part in the second 3 Test against Zimbabwe in Sydney due to an injury to his left side, was ruled out of the tour this morning following a light bowling session.
He will be reviewed by Cricket Australia Medical Officer Dr Trefor James over the coming days before returning to Adelaide to continue his rehabilitation.
Jason Gillespie said: "I pulled up sore this morning following a light bowl and it wasn't long after that Errol Alcott, the selectors, and I came to the decision that I shouldn't go to India.
"It's not fair on anyone if I went on tour and wasn't 100 per cent fit.
"It's fair to say that I'm very disappointed but with the right rehabilitation I'm confident that I'll be available for the Test series against India in December."
