Hong Kong has breezed to its second successive victory after dismissing Bhutan for 32 runs at the ACC Women's Twenty20 2011 in Kuwait.
The Bhutan batting line-up had no answer to the Hong Kong bowling attack after winning the toss and electing to bat first at the Hubara ground. Hong Kong struck early when Connie Wong trapped Dechen Wangmo with the last ball of the first over. Wong struck again in her third over to leave Bhutan reeling at 2-7. Bhutan wickets fell at regular intervals as Betty Chan (2-6) and Keenu Gill (2-5) also picked up a couple of wickets each. Bhutan skipper Yeshey Choden was the only one to register a double figure score but her 13 runs took an agonising 54 balls. Bhutan were eventually dismissed for 32 in 18.5 overs. Chan Sau Har was the other wicket taker for Hong Kong.
Hong Kong had little trouble in knocking off the required runs, needing only four overs to complete their task. Keenu Gill hit two boundaries in her run-a-ball 13 but she was dismissed with the total in sight. Mariko Hill hit a boundary to finish things off while Connie Wong finished unbeaten on 9. Keenu Gill was named Player of the Match.
