Profile
Alfred Bowerman was a middle-order batsman played twice for Somerset with no success. A keen club cricketer, he played in the England side (in reality Devon Wanderers) that won the gold medal at the 1900 Paris Olympics. Bowerman top scored with 59. A timber merchant, he later emigrated to Australia.
