Pakistan squad for Asia Cup announced

The Pakistan selectors have announced a short-list of 18 players for the Asia Cup which will be held in India in December. The players were selected on the basis of their performance at the recent training camp in Lahore.

The three-man selection committee comprised Imtiaz Ahmed, the chief selector, the coach Umer Rashid and Shahnaz Sohail, the manager of the women's team.

Squad Taskeen Qadeer, Bismah Maroof, Sajida Shah, Urooj Mumtaz Khan, Sana Javed, Sana Mir, Batool Fatima, Shumaila Mushtaq, Asmavia Iqbal, Qanita Jalil, Maryum Butt, Khursheed Jabeen, Sabahat Rasheed, Sumaiya Siddique, Nain Abdi, Arman Khan, Sania Khan, Almas Akram.
