Several spectators were injured when a fence collapsed at India's training camp in Bangalore.
Dozens of fans had gathered to watch the Indians train, but as numbers grew the barbed-wire fence gave way, injuring as many as half-a-dozen of them. None were seriously hurt.
"It's the fault of the authorities," one of those involved said. "They should have charged us some fees and allowed us in. When the fence broke, one man fell down so badly he wasn't even able to talk. We all wanted to see Tendulkar. We couldn't go inside, so had to climb on the fence."
The training session was understandably disrupted and a few spectators used the confusion to make their way over to Sachin Tendulkar to ask him for autographs. But the situation briefly threatened to get out of hand as more people tried to get near the cricketers and security personnel had to remove the intruders.
Shortly afterwards, the training was switched from the Karnataka State Cricket Association ground to the adjacent M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
