The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has asked the West Indies Cricket Board to cut India's tour starting in May from four Tests to three.
"We have requested them to reduce one Test from the itinerary as India are already playing enough matches there," Shashank Manohar, chairman of the Fixtures Committee, said after a Committee meeting . India are currently scheduled to play four Tests and five one-day internationals on the tour from May 15 to July 5, with Antigua, Jamaica, St Lucia and St Kitts the Test venues.
Niranjan Shah, the BCCI secretary, said India would also play a tri-series in Sri Lanka in August with South Africa being the third side. He added that India A would tour Australia and the Under-19 team would go to England in June and July.
