It's not fair to call it experimentation. These are players who are playing international cricket and we have confidence that they have the ability to do the job designated to them on the day. It's more a strategy than an experiment. We just have to sum up the conditions tomorrow and adjust accordingly. We are aiming for flexibility to handle all eventualities.
I thought he played a pretty important role in the last match. He gave good support to MS Dhoni. The way he batted showed great knowledge, experience and understanding of the situation. He was a very important part of that partnership. And he later played a different role, when he ran for Dhoni, helped young Venu [Venugopal Rao] through a difficult phase.
There is no such move [to rest Tendulkar]. As long as he's fit and well, he would play. We missed his presence in Sri Lanka.
This is not the time to blame individuals for the defeats. It's only going to put your team down.

Sachin [Tendulkar] is a great player, but I am also trying hard. I am happy with the way I am bowling. I will bowl better in the Tests [against India] as in one-dayers a bowler is limited to bowl only ten overs.
"We don't want to give excuses, but there's plenty of cricket left and we will come back hard.
It was a flat track and I thought we bowled well till the first 35 overs or so. Let us also give credit to [Kumar] Sangakkara and [Farveez] Maharoof. On such wickets your bowlers are bound to go for some runs.
I would like to see myself getting more runs. The shoulder injury is improving. It poses a slight problem while batting. I don't know whether I would bowl tomorrow.
