 Profile

An excellent season for Scarborough in Perth's club cricket last summer earned Theo Doropoulos a promotion from the rookie list to the senior Western Australia squad for 2007-08. He made 721 runs at 48.07 for his grade side and claimed 34 wickets at 18.79 with his right-arm seamers in a summer when he also made his state Twenty20 debut. Doropoulos had a strong junior career and was Australia's top scorer at the Under-19 World Cup in 2004, when he made 238 runs at 34 with a strike-rate of 101.
